Ancestry of Black Nursing

Wet nursing was a negative reform for breastfeeding freedom. Wet nursing stripped away black mothers rights when it came to breastfeeding freely with a choice to or not, especially toward their own infants. Statistically black women are on the lower rates as a community to breastfeed. Wet nursing is the rooted pain that associates to these statistics.
